I like Lori, she's a good guitarist. The little I've heard of her playing has been very positive, but I'll need to hear more to give an informed opinion about her.

She rocks but (oop, I'll get flamed for this): her style suits a Les Paul and her tone would be better.). I know she's been on PRS payroll since she was in diapers, but every time I see her I wish she would sound as good as she plays.

Somebody hand her a Slash signature LP.

I do congratulate her and wish her success on her new musical direction though. Didn't know she could sing.

Here's a good sampling of Orianthi's playing http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BXf8oJq049w

It's 90% run of the mill, but there's some good stuff in that other 10%, like around the 5:50 mark.

I saw the Michael Jackson movie last night and thought Michael was beyond awesome as an entertain who had a vision for the show he was putting on. Orianthi wasn't super impressive, but it looked like she was doing Beat It without much whammy bar at all, that was pretty cool...I know if could've been dubbed in, but it looked like the moves were with the audio.

I think Ani Difranco is by far a superior female guitarist and much more original. She should be somewhere at the top of that list.

I dig her. I don't dislike According to You but there are much better songs on the album. Including a duet with Mr. Vai.

Anyone can add a bunch of famous musicians to their friends list, it doesn't actually mean anything.

Yes, I'm aware of this, but that doesn't mean that Myspace friends means that you actually know these people.

They did a awesome guitar thing in 'This Is It' after 'Black Or White' and I thought 'That's one of the best musical thing I've ever heard!'. She's really amazing.
