Caught a Honey Bee!

Thanks Wondermoose!

When do I get my club membership card?

Honestly, this is the last OD I ever want to buy. I've been very happy with my Screwdriver, Eternity and Hot Cake (and Timmy). I'm pretty well set. Time to focus on non-drive pedals...

Remember that recent "dirt-a-holic" thread...

Yeah, that's me.

Welcome!!! I started with Bjorn's Little Red Trebler (still my favorite), but once you have one, you can't stop. Now I have the Honey Bee, EGMD, PGC, SBEQ, BBOD, and soon a DYNA Red.......PLus I have 5 MP pedals....So take heed, and do not follow in my footsteps...

But for dirt, Honey Bee is my Favorite, behind only the Kingsley Jester

Congrats on the Bee! Great OD!

5 dirt boxes? Oh, come on now, Yr Blues, that's hardly excessive!

Lets see, I currently own 14:

Analogman King Of Tone
Analogman Peppermint Fuzz
Analogman Sun Lion
BJFE Emerald Green Distortion Machine
BJFE Honey Bee Overdrive
BJFE Model H
Paul Cochrane Tim
Fulltone Full-Drive 2
Fulltone OCD Obsessive Complusive Drive
Fulltone '69
Fulltone Soul Bender
Klon Centaur
Landgraff MO-D
Mad Professor Little Green Wonder

I'm currently selling the Mad Professor Little Green Wonder, however; $200 PayPaled/shipped!

Don't worry - there's hope!

I, of sound mind, sold my Honey Bee, EGDM, SBEQ, BBOD, PPF, and MP SHOD! Kept the PGC though... that's a little piece of magic right there. Not bad pedals at all, just others I preferred more. Like all things, different strokes for different folks.

Nice BJFE/MP collection supersonic1414! I am jealous! I am currently on the hunt for a PGC, SBEQ, and BBOD, so, if you ever want to part with any of them, please let me know!

I will be parting with some I bought them, as well as a ton of other pedals to a/b as I build my new setup....so it just comes down to what makes the cut...

and even 14 dirt boxes isn't that much...I have a buddy who has 34 fuzz and 40 dirt pedals...Yeah, lord knows where he keeps them..

and check out Ben C. list of pedals he has owned. The man could write a book!!!

Well, man, please keep me posted. If they're the ones I'm looking for, I'd gladly buy them from you!

And, yes, 14 isn't that many. I wasn't trying to put myself out there as being some kind of "paragon of dirt boxes"! 14 would just be a starter kit for some of the guys around here.

Yes, Ben C. has an impressive list. We've actually cycled through a lot of the same pedals.

As always, the eternal search for cool sounds continues...

It would be cool if it weren't also tragic ... I like having the list link'd so people can see what I can add to a discussion, but on the other hand, it's also embarrassing

Agreed - it continues on and on... although much slower for me now. When I had no kids and a cheap mortgage, it was a lot easier to just buy things to 'check them out'! Nowadays, I have to be much more selective.

I started with a Bee (which is still my main dirt pedal). Liked it so much I tried the Dyna Red and EGDM - while they were very nice, I realized that for me, I'd be just as happy with other, much cheaper pedals.

Now you need an EGDM and DRD to stack the HoneyBee with! I never got along with ODs until I found BJFe.

Similar story - sold the HBOD, EGDM, SBEQ, PPF, CAF, MP LGW, RRB -
and kept the PGC! For myself the Jester and a Sunlion was preferred
to all that, YMMV etc...
