I want a new amp, looking at an AC15, seeking suggestions

Hey all,

I own a Blues Junior which has been great, but I'm looking for a new amp that has on board tremolo and reverb to round out my simple effects setup (tuner, fuzz,OD,delay). I live in a townhouse so volume is an issue, which is why I was looking at an AC15 with master volume. I hardly ever play guitar out, I am a full time drummer and only really gig drumming. I do however write a lot of music and record in my basement, as well as rehearse and jam with friends/bandmates. The Blues Jr has been great for recording, but I'd like a bit more for jamming/ rehearsing. I'd also like something with less of a boxy sound that the Blues Jr has.

Do you think the AC15 is a suitable amp for semi low volume recordings, and would it hold it's own in a reasonably loud rehearsal environment? I definitely want to get the model with the Alnico Blue in it, I hear that makes a big difference. Any help is much appreciated, thanks.
