Fender Rivera Concert Amp - Recording direct out??

Gang, I picked up a Fender Rivera Concert (sometimes called a Concert II).
Came with 2 EV Force 10 anchors, I mean speakers.
Popped in 2 Jensen neo 10-100s and am loving it!

Question - it has a 1/4" jack "recording direct out"

What type of signal is being sent? It sounds okay from my shitty basement PA.

My best guess is a simple cab-like EQ which would be good for sound reinforcement.

Thanks.
