Line 6 M9 Lo Res Delay ?

So just recently picked up an M9 and am loving the pedal. What a value! My only problem is with the Lo Res Delay. On my DL4 the Lo Res would trail of beautifully. On my M9 as it trails of it gets very digital and then abruptly cuts off. Anyone else having that issue? Kinda stinks because that was one of my favorite settings on my DL4.
