Recently met my birth family.

46 years ago my birth mother was basically forced to give me up for adoption by her mother. As my thread title says, I was extremely fortunate enough to meet my birth mother for the first time recently. I know it doesn't work out this way for most adoptees when trying to meet their birth family but my experience was/is wonderful.

Cool thing is my birth mother and father eventually married (after giving me up) and they had a daughter. So I now have a full blooded sister.

Just wanted to share this with everyone.

Have a great day!
