Gibson Les Paul Special question
I've got a '98 singlecut Gibson Les Paul Special, a craigslist find, green (boo! should be TV yellow so I can look like Mick Jones), was upgraded to Lollar P90s by the previous owner (hooray! I guess I can live with green after all).
I've been really happy with it. Granted it's not a Collings 290, but I'm ok with that. I had Mike Lull plek it and it sounds/plays great, and I don't feel stupid playing punk rock on it like I would with a 290! Anyway: who knows much about the LP Specials? It seems like a budget LP, but for some reason I get on with it better than any LP Studio I've played. Maybe I just lucked into a good one, of that was a good time for them, who knows. Thanks!
