your bass is one of mine although it was one that was "in process" the day the Crap came down, so it was finished after I left.
but you can see it has the smaller neck, the truss rod cover (which they later dropped) the control knob placment is the old version ( I'm betting that your back coverplate is shaped a lot like a toliet seat) and if you look carefully the two bottom most tuning keys are very close to being staright across for each other instead of being very offset like they are today.
this is a early version that was factory "remodified" I remember that flamey Walnut top too.
