DIY 2x12 - What speakers?

Hey friends,

Save for the finish/material on the cabinet, I've completed my 2x12 oversize cabinet.

I'm using a 1968 Traynor YBA-1. The previous owner modded it, but I don't have the technical knowledge to identify what he did (There are newer looking transformers and some other stuff that has bar codes/looks newish).

I was looking into Eminence Private Jacks, Wizards, Governors, or Swamp Thangs.

I'm looking for a lot of clarity, and nice amount of mids. I play with a lot of cleans, or clean with mild/punchy grit. Sort of a classic rock tone. I'll also often be using some higher gain (but not crazy) for lead stuff, where smooth legato tone and compression is a must.

What other speakers should I research/check out?
