Anything new in the fusion/smooth/hairless pedal scene?

Looking for the super smooth, hairless, fusiony sound in a pedal. I don't want to hear any grind or crunch etc. in single note stuff...lots of sustain, feedback on demand, with a big, full sound stage.
It doesn't have to work for chord work. The Zendrive used to be 'it' for this sound, but it didn't work with my rig. Any other good options?

Also the Honey Bee Overdrive I found it very good for fusion/Latin type of music.

The biggest sounding od is the Maxon SD9 with the tone knob very very low. It can be super smooth and it feels great for legato and fusion playing. It doesnt sound as good on a extremely clean amp but push your amp a little but and it'll sound great!

Wow ... that description totally ruins that pedal for me ...
If I can't use an extremely clean amp & get a good sound with an OD pedal...?
Then it ain't a good thing ..

It depends on the amp. I love the way it sounds with a twin but it doesnt sound as good thru a super reverb. Go figure.

Try a Way Huge Fat Sandwich. They're going for under $100 on the used market.

Jetter Gainstage Red although not new is a great pedal. They have a new take on the GSR. It's a combo of GSR and Purple(marshall) pedals.

www.myspace.com/mattzito

The first three tunes are GSR into Fuchs ODS.

Menatone Red Snapper (clips at the site). Lacks that diode grit sound.
Suhr Shiba Drive, like a smoother TS.
Cause & Effect FET Dream (clips at their site)
Menatone Howie
