Another happy owner of Suhr

I just received this new Classic T from Suhr and just wanted to share the beauty of this instrument as an indication of how much I appreciate the craftsmanship of Suhr guitars. I'm sure everyone heard of good things about Suhr guitars, but when it hit me as a reality in my hand, it really is something.
Anyway, I broke my ass to buy this instrument and I don't feel sorry for my ass.

Gorgeous! How does it play and sound?
Interesting Hybrid with that bridge on it vs. a Tele bridge.
Pick ups seem to be placed quite far from the neck and bridge as well .. all in all very unique!

Thanks. I had a kick out of the customizing process and all worked well.
The neck is 60s vintage C with wider nut width 1.687. I find it quite comfortable to play since I'm very accustomed to gibson guitars.
Sound. It's quite interesting. Body is chambered swamp ash and pickups are SSV and SSV+ and all that really gives me very punchy tones. What pleasantly surprised me was the tone coming out of split mode. Hard to describe.., but it's quite unique.. I also find swamp ash & SSV+ combination with overdrive to be quite a unique tone. Well, it really screams (in a suhr way )

Hello Mr. Suhr,
Good to hear from you here. I talked to Eddie about how great this guitar is, but I never got a chance to personally thank you for your time on this guitar. I'm really enjoying this wonderful instrument, and especially loving the headstock!

Andrew

As a fellow-owner of a Suhr "tele-mutant" (as one poster called mine, I hope not sardonically), I APPROVE! A true beauty.

John's work is always cool. I love the pearlized shorty pickguard. Great looking axe. Very nice - and understated - top. Looks fantastic with the zebra humbuckers.

Nice choice!
