I've played this thing before, but this time around I was really loving it. Sounds really good.....

Mike: Another awesome demo of your skills & musical sensibility...and of course the pedal!

Have you compared the NEO vs. the Strymon Lex?

P.S. Does the band have its summer schedule for the NE area figured out? I would like to hear you guys live.

Scott

I have a Lex and was playing them side by side today. I like the sound of the slow speed better on the Ventilator.

The Lex is smaller and sounds amazing as well. I'm also used to it... Have been using it for over a year. And it's smaller.

But the Vent... yeah, it's nice. I can almost justify getting rid of my Lex and my Deja Vibe and replacing them with the Ventilator. Killer pedal!!!!

Hah hah, I know that feeling. Two different Effectrode vibes, Strymon Lex, Redwitch Moonphaser, Bigfoot Magnavibe, oh and let's not forget the Vibe mode of the TC SCF...Lot's of overlap, yet each has its own personality.

I guess the moral to the story is: never fall in love with your herd.

This is paramount for me! I've only heard demos of the Lex, but I have the Vent. That slow Leslie sound is magical...nothing like it. And the Vent is the first time I've heard it done accurately outside of an actual Leslie.

It sounds even better in person through two amps in stereo, you can't help smiling when you hear the swirls speed up and slow down. great for recording direct too. I love mine. I don't use it all the time, but it's not going anywhere any time soon. I run my synths through it too, great for keyboard players too.

The "expression" pedal isn't a standard 2 way switch, it's odd wiring, but I've made two for myself. a footswitch one and a toggle switch for desktop use. You can get the spinning to stop with a footswitch. I don't think you can w/o one.

Great to see more demos of this great pedal. There were only a couple when I bought mine. Burgerman and a keyboard dude.
