The -03 series acoustics are still made in Canada, the -05 acoustics and upwards plus all of the electrics are made in the USA.

I'm a big Larrivee fan, both acoustic and electrics, all of their range is made left handed at no extra charge.

I haven't taken the plunge on a Bakersfield ... yet.

I do however have a couple of their RS electrics, an RS4 with humbuckers and an RS2 with P-90s.

These look like fabulous guitars!

I checked out the Youtube clips (found 2) both of which sound great. And the specs are right up my street ... with the possible exception of the maple fretboard and neck finish ... it could be that it's just the photo, but the neck looks quite glossy and therefore potentially quite sticky. Is that the case? Is the fretborard glossy?

I have a maple necked Suhr (RW board) which has a raw wood type finish that feels great ... if the Bakersfield was anywhere close to that, it could potentially be the tele for me!
