What are your favorite MUSKET settings?

So I just picked up a musket fuzz. I've been GASing for one for about a year now. Picked up a used one and it came in the mail today! Man, what a pedal! There are a ton of awesome tones coming out of this thing! Great muff! I think it'll go nicely alongside my TFR.

Since it's capable of so many different tones, what are your favorite settings?

Thanks! I'll try your settings. After about an hour of tinkering I think I'm really digging:

Pre: 3 o'clock
Mids: noon
Focus: 9
Fuzz: 4
Tone: noon
Vol: 3

Kinda close to that Ram's Head or Triangle muff sound, but still far from it:
Pre: 8:00-9:00
Mids: 10:00
Focus: 3:00
Fuzz: 3:00-3:30
Tone: 1:30

Here's one for a Sovtek Muff:
Pre: off
Mids: 12:00-1:00
Focus: off
Fuzz: 2:00
Tone: 11:00-12:00

Volume sounds best when it's around 2 or 3 o'clock (with all muffs really), but since the Musket has waay too much volume on tap so I leave it on 10:30 and when playing loud at noon. As much as I love this pedal, planning to get another Muff style that nails a Triangle or Ram's Head muff (maybe both like the Tri/Ram), since the Musket is based on the Sovtek muff.

Pre: 4:30
Mids: 11:30
Focus: 12:30
Fuzz: 2
Tone: Maxed out

Stacked with my OD, this is my Robert Fripp setting. -E

I think your Trinagle/Ram settings are pretty good; I’d bring the Tone up a bit more and roll the Focus back, maybe turn the Pre off. -E

Thanks for the settings guys!

I know this pedal isn't necessarily the flavor of the week anymore, but is there anyone else that wants to chime in?

If I put the volume at 2 o'clock, when playing a 15-watt tube amp with the volume at 5, my clean volume will sound much lower than compared to the Musket when engaged. Obviously, sounds better for the Musket when the volume is cranked, but I really don't want to be lost in the mix.

And just so you know I'm mainly a bedroom player and occasionally jam with of buds. So, maybe you play louder than me and have to crank up the volume on the Musket, which is why you were like

Isn't this all dependent on your guitar, amp and other stuff etc..

Seems odd. I own a musket and it reacts differently if I just turn the amp up. And by 'acts differently' I mean the entire rig just sounds different...not the pedal.

Fuzzy Overdrive settings:
Pre: 100%
Mids: 90%
Focus: 100%
Fuzz: 7:00-8:00
Tone: 90%

I'm pretty sure Kit Rae recommended this setting on the gilmourish website when he commented on the Musket review page done by Bjorn. So, all credit goes to him if you like this setting.

When I had my Musket I ran it like this:

Pre: 11 O'clock
Mids: 9 O'clock
Focus: 7 O'clock
Fuzz: 3 O'clock
Tone: 2 O'clock
Volume: 1 O'clock

This was run into an edge of break up plexi and gave me a fantastic wall of fuzz sound.
