Can I do multitrack recording on Ipad 2?

Actually, with that cable above, could you not:
1. Plug mic into Apogee input
2. Plug output of apogee into cable
3. Plug cable into iPad

It just adds an adapter to the mix, but that's not terrible. Just don't move the iPad/cable when recording, as the plug in the rotating in the ipad will make some noise.
