Southern boy sayin hello...
Hey there,

I'm Jeff, from the Atlanta area. Have been reading for awhile and really enjoy the variety of discussions and advice. I'm primarily a bassist, having played for about 40 years on electric after learning on upright. Have toyed with guitar for a long time and really try to get serious about improving my guitar skills now.

Will admit to having serious GAS at times but enjoy my cheapo Variax as much as my fancier guitars. Have generally enjoyed strat style guitars but am currently diggin my PRS DGT.

Love lots of different styles of music and currently listening to a wide variety of stuff including David Grissom, Darrell Scott, Sarah Jarosz, and old Steely Dan.

Harbor a deep love for guitar design and construction as well so really enjoy some of the luthier comments and discussions.
