Do you put your Plimsoul and Maxon in the loop of the Tonelab or guitar into pedals into Tonelab? Great tone and playing by the way. I have breifly tried
the Tonelab a few years back but have been thinking about giving it a go again. I primarily use an Ethos and had thought if I put it in the loop I could program to use it or some of the other amp models

Actually everything is in front of the amp using only Channel .
Used to put it in the loop and my pedals in front of the amp ...
But that I've gone back to it and put a ton of expensive boutique pedals in the shed ...
Just plug it straight into the Mark V with my Plimsoul, Maxon CP101 and BG Wah in front of the ToneLab ...

Ya know ... I actually think of the virtual amp/cabinet as additional EQ settings and/or boosters ..
Therefore I'll have two settings for the same tone .. thus two patches.
One only using the Mark V with effects in front of it ...
One using the same effects setting only with my 'blackface/cabinet" choices on..

Oh ... and FWIW,
I do not use the 'hard bypass" switch which eliminates the loop gain knob..
because that gain knob still functions as another gain stage even if nothing is going through the loop
(this is what Andy Timmons and others recommend too ..)

Thanks for listening and digging the sounds ...

Yeah sure ... only problem is that it's packed in the back of my van ...
Have a system for loading unloading come my weekly gigs which I don't mess with usually...
but next time I get it out,
will try to hopefully remember to look them up for you,
then come back here & post 'em ...

Oh shoot I forgot ... tomorrow night I'm playing down on Cannery Row and hopefully I'll check it for you well I'm setting up ...
However, I'm pretty sure now it's the 'echo-plex' without any tags,
dabbed with a touch hall reverb ...
From what I can recall ...

OK. Here is ...
basically just the echoplex setting on enough to hear that it's in the mix...
combined with a healthy dose of Spring Reverb ..
No reverb on the amp though. Then it's just too much
