Orca '59; Haussel pick ups are extraordinary as is everything else about the guitar.

Are these like Super boutique Les Paul, or do they elicit other tones? Gibson Scale? They look Amaaaaazing!

I like to think of them as pumped-up PRS with a more familiar body shape/bridge. Somewhere right in the middle for me, and a tad more refined, but I can't remember what model Haussels were in mine.

A beauty to be certain. Maybe it's the photo but the top carve looks subtly different than the "standard" Orca. Can you share the complete spec (fret board, pick ups, etc)? Enjoy

sure! honduran mahogany body and neck, Brazilian rosewood fretboard and harry haussel 59 pickups. it also has the open pore nitro cellulose finish...

one thing it wish it did have is the carving to the back of the body, i miss that from my old orca, it was much more comfortable, but tonally i found this guitar nicer than my previous orca.

Neck joint is lovely...

I agree with narad's assessment that these are more of a refined PRS-style. I don't view these as a Les Paul at all... Only in the familiar body style, otherwise it has more in common with my Thorn AM than my Yamano Murphy LP...

FWIW, this one is so good, I am now ordering one like the Blue one narad posted above a few posts ago... Floyd and all!

Couple other pix of the Charcoal for those interested:
