Wow that is awful. I hope Jim Wagner of WCR pickups sees this thread as he was friendly with Stuart and actually has jam with MTB live a few times.

Probably about 14-15 times now. Will sure miss him, Stuart was an extremely nice guy, GREAT player generous to a fault , (as are the rest of the band). I could never have thanked him enough. He was the 1st one that called me from MTB, and I'll never forget him.

Jim, so sorry for the loss of your friend. Sadly, I have not seen the MTB yet but have loved those classic songs for many years.

Yeah, I was really surprised by it, he was 4 years younger than me. But pretty much always seemed exceptionally frail to me. Anyhow, just watch for them, they play on your side of the U.S. way more than out here. Lucky to catch them once a year here....

Wow, that is a shock, he was a great guy, very nice and approachable. He lived just a few minutes away from me and I first met him through an Ebay deal, I bought a Maxon Overdrive off him and he invited me over to pick it up, ironically I was a longtime MTB fan and had no idea what I was walking into, when I got to his place his garage was just decked out with memorabilia from his tenure with the band, he was really cool and down to earth, he will be missed.

This is very sad indeed. I met Stuart in 1994. Very nice fellow. Damn.
