Lennon-ize a Jr?

I really like the TV Powertron Plus ( Even though they forgot to tap threads in the mounting tabs .............)

BTW ,when I said "Lennon-ize", I wasn't being too literal about it . I sure didn't want a stop tail/ TOM /CC pickup and all that .....just a general vision, adding a neck pickup . Still ,I hope John would be proud of how he's done it again ...inspired yet another wannabe guitar player to action .....

I love the classic Les Paul Jr. design better than anyone , however the LP jr HB isn't quite the real thing and could surely use a little help

Im lookin forward to tweakin it to my open G setup and integrating it into my schtick

That is very inspirational! I've been lusting after a good Gretsch lately, and I've been wanting to add another Jr. type guitar to the stable. I bet it rocks. The new Les Paul Jrs with the satin finish and humbucker are OK...but I bet that bridge pickup swap did wonders!
