Can't Believe I haven't Been Here Before: Let me Introduce Myself

Hello Everyone,

My name is Scott Sill and I am a new member of The Gear Page. I am a little embarrassed I haven't found this forum before. I have been spending a lot of time on the MyLesPaul site, but I like the idea of this being bit more open to all types.

I can't wait to explore here. Let me introduce myself by saying I have been playing guitar since I was 12 so that makes it over 20 years for me. I have been collecting guitars since the beginning and haven't looked back. I have never sold a guitar, but sad to say I have parted with a few of my amps and pedals over the years.

I have been playing around Los Angeles area in Church and via a little group we like to call The Flo Guitar Enthusiasts. It is a group that a buddy and I formed to get info out about guitars and equipment that we thought wasn't there and really try to teach others about techniques for obtaining "tone".

I have been doing some demos of equipment on Youtube and I hope that you all will get to take a look at them sometime. My latest is here if you want to check it out.

I can't seem to figure out how to post a youtube video and get it to display the video rather than just the link. I see the youtube button when creating a new post, but everytime I put that around my link it just shows a white box and not my video. Any help on how to get them to display on this forum properly I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi, Scott! To post an embedded youtube link, all you need to do is add the characters that come after the "=" sign in between the bracketed "youtube" and "/youtube". For your link, it would be TYgHv4Ae6yE. Hit the "quote" button on my post to see how it is done.
