My trusty '76 SFTR has been with me since 2001. My Boogie Mark III I've had since 2007. Neither are going anywhere, even though they both need some fixing. Today is NAD for me. The FedEx guy should be dropping off my RedPlate Rock Machine head at some point. I can't wait!

I've had this '65 Tremolux since around 1980. I inherited from a friend who passed in a motorcycle accident.

Funny - I thought of it as an old amp then but it was only 15 years old at the time. Now its 37. Wow. REcapped and retubed a few times. Fixed one cold solder joint, Other than that, it's been a wonder.

I found another that's a near twin in the late 80's - '87 I think. For years I used the pair as my main stage rig.

I still use them for the occasional gig.

I owned a Marshall 1974 for 27 years. Sold it very reluctantly in 2002 to raise much-needed cash....

I've owned and used a whole lot of amps over the years. I had a 1975 Boogie Mk1 for about 15 years - never really bonded with that amp.
I bought a Rivera R55 secondhand in 1997 and still use it regularly. What a great buy that was!

Now; as for the amps that I most definitely should not have sold on - sadly that's a much longer list.

I bought my 1950 Fender Super in 1973. It'll probably be the last amp I ever sell.

I've had my '67 Twin Reverb for over 15 years but I can't remember if I've had the others that long. For now, I'm keeping every Fender I get.
