That tone is one of my all time favorites. It blows me away.

In 78 my dorm buddies bought me front row center for my 19th birthday. I learned a lot that night about soul, feel, tone and communicating with the audience. At the end of the last tune BB hit "the note", let it ring, and then placed his right hand behind his back. What followed was the most musical one-handed guitar trick I've ever seen. BB rules.

The man is all about taste. Minimalism. Artful phrasing. Less is more. Blows away so much of the shredder garbage that passes for genius today. Be sad to see that go. The stuff of legend.

I really believe it was a medium sized tweed amp, like a Pro or a Bandmaster. Its got that singing quality that my Vicky Bandmaster has. When I plug my 335 (with Seth Lovers) into that amp at about 7, it gets that Regal tone.
Its a great album and a great tone, no doubt about it. But I believe my favorite BB album for playing is Live in Japan, he is on fire on that one. Tone is probably better on Live at the Regal though.

Is the Regal Theatre a 335 or 345? Thanks
