Marshamps... that sounds really interesting... the half power mod. Another mod someone mentioned to me (and I won't get it right) was a cathode bias mod with a switch or something to choose between two bias mods.

Which do you like more between the 5E7 and the 5F6A and why?

Also curiuos if the P10Rs really break in... would be using the amp as pedal platform (really just one pedal... honeybeest... but I can do it all with that pedal).

The Half power is a Pentode Triode deal. a Fixed/Cathode Bias Switch is a diferent but very doable mod as well!!! In Cathode mode you will have a darker less tone.

Hard to say which i like more as they are somewhat diferent. The 5F6A has more punch, more headroom and the 5F4/5E7 have the darker Fatter break up! Pete Townsend used the 5E7 on every album since Who's next! Joe Walsh give him the 5E7 with a 6120 Gretsch and a Volume pedal.

I do think the 5F6A is more versatile and a good pedal platform. The 5E7 more of a one trick pony, but Oh what nice Trick!!! I guess you need both!!!!
