Massie Tube amp

Hello eveyone
I just picked up a massie chassis, there are no tubes but it does takes two, no fuse not sure of the size. Can't really make out what it says on the chrome,I can make out Massie electronics. 60 something on the fuse, There are three knobs I think one control says depth . which is the center knob. Can anyone tell me what tubes this takes? any pictures of a finished one? what fuse? what model? watts?, Also what are these valued at? there also is a RCA jack next to the tubes, what is this for? Any help would be great, can't wait to fire her up Thanks Tommyzee

"The Rebel" Model 360

I picked up a little single ended 6v6 tube amp a few years ago on ebay with no markings or badge what so ever. However, after examining every Massie amp and early St George amp photo I could find after seeing a "Vibe" on ebay, I can see my amp is constructed exactly like those photos and as you've described. Being a screenprinter, I can also say that the type styles and dial markings are a match to my amp's markings exactly. It's called "The Rebel" / Model 360 and is a 2 input, 1 volume knob, on/off switch basic champ type set up. It has that cheap plywood cabinet, tan tollex look w/ the chromed front mounted chassis and a 6" alnico speaker.

I don't know if a man named Ray Massie with Leo had anything to do with creating this amp. All I do know is that this little amp has clarity and tone all day long.

Mr Banner would have a few Massie amps in his teaching room and would sell the Massie product to interested students. I purchased the Squire Model Amp head with a matching single 12' Jensen Ported cabinet. This version of the Squire head had 6V6's and an EZ81 tube rectifier. I wanted the amp to have more treble and Mr. Banner said that Ray Massie could install a presence control for more hi end so I had that mod done and the presence knob was placed on the rear panel using the reverb knob hole location.

Mr Banner would occasionally bring in newer Massie amp head designs that I never saw in any store that were more modern looking, larger and higher powered using pairs of 6L6s. He told me that these amp heads were designed for the St George Company.

Mr. Banner mentioned that Ray Massie used to work for Leo Fender.

Hope this bit of info helps sort out the record on Ray Massie a little bit.
Strange that my information has been dismissed but I would venture that
it is as close as one will get to "real" info on Ray Massie. Perry Banner
did work for Ray and also sold the Massie amps directly to many of his other guitar students. When he made a sale, he would bring the amps into his lesson room and do the transaction there and not at a retail music store. I saw these amps parked there when I took my weekly lessons.
I still recall the discussions about amplifiers that Mr Banner had with me
and the fact that Ray Massie did work for Leo Fender in the early 50's building guitar amplifiers. It was mentioned to me I am sure to help provide some cred to Massie's background and help with his sales of the Massie product to his guitar students.

So, Ray Massie was the owner operator of the Massie product who also happened to have arrangements for some of his product to be badged Saint George, he also worked for Leo Fender at some point in time in the early 1950's, and my guitar teacher Perry Banner worked for him as an assembler and component solderer and had 1st hand info on Ray and his product line. After I received my Squier Amp I had Perry take it back to Massie and had the presence control mod installed.

I bought a Viking last week. It's really low output. I haven't opened it yet but the seller told me there is a 10" Jensen in there. It overdrives really nice. The trem is kinda funky though. Works but needs work I would guess. Here it is....
