Drum lessons in Northern Virginia - suggestions?

I know we're mostly guitarists here, but thought I'd ask anyway since there are plenty of NoVA folks here. I'm looking into getting my 10 y.o. son drum lessons. Can anyone recommend anyone? I'm looking for someone who is good with kids - knows how to "deal" with them and talk to them, while at the same time can motivate and push them. Thanks!

his answer: Chris Armenio at Music and Arts on Rt 123

My husband offers drum lessons in Northern Virginia. He has been teaching for more than 25 years, all ages. You can learn more about him and us through our website, which is www.voiceanddrum.com . Good luck with your musical pursuits!

I know two great drummers in the area, Larry Fergusson and Dave MacDonald. Both professional drummers that plays in the army band.
I can put you in touch with them if you pm me.
