A good cheep cheep 1x12 cabinet to mount a Scumback H55 in?

As I turn my attention to a guitar speaker for recording, I'm pretty sold on ordering a Scumback H55 in order to get as close as I can to the Jimi BOG sound.

BUT (sigh, there's always a big butt!), my budget is unfortunately restricted to some short bread, so I'd like to find a used closed back cabinet to put it in, cheap.

Any idears? If the way it's mounted in the cab still makes much difference when close mic'ing, I suppose I ought to seek out one that's mounted just like 'ol Jimi's were in those Marshall cabs.

Actually if a good iso-cab like the Rivera silent sister was affordable, I'd like to just get one of those for recording, but from what I've read, other more affordable ones tend to suffer from all manner of pesky resonances....

[Full disclosure: I've also posted this same line of questioning over at gearslutz - no answer there so far]

Look towards Avatar Speakers or Mojotone. Both great and seems pretty affordable. As for the iso-cab it seems like it would be a fun little project to make one! http://www.amptone.com/diyisobox.htm

Cool - thanks Macro, I've been checking those out, and I see Avatar has a closed back 1x12 that could seriously fit the bill.

Then I just ran across this VHT SPECIAL 6 1X12 12" Closed Back Speaker Cab NEW $149.95 on Ebay.

What do y'all think about it?

[Edit: Now I've looked into them further and see that everyone and their dog is selling these Chinese made VHt cabs]

Make sure you get a good cab that matches your amp...A cab can and usually does make a bigger difference than the speaker. For instance, I hate Vintage 30's- they sound fantastic in Bogner and Suhr ported cabs.

In that case I should mention that my amp is a Reason Bambino.

Super apprecciatin' all the responses here, looking into all of them, and no doubt they'll shape my cab decision.

Also, check out the 1x12 that Traynor makes for the DarkHorse head. Built like a tank and sounds great, made in Canada. Can be closed back or partially open-back. I used it with an M75 and a Dr Z Remedy. Comes stock with a G12M-25.

+1 on the Lopoline cabs. I have a 2x12 from Lopo and like it. Avatars (have a traditional 2x12) tend to be taller and wider, but not as deep.

I haven't tried these myself, so take it fwiw, but the price is right, and the specs seem pretty good.

I have a seismic 1x12 that I use instead of my 2x12 Avatar cab when I don't want to haul around my whole rig. For the price it is really VERY decently constructed and sounds great with an EVM.

This is the one I bought. http://www.seismicaudiospeakers.com/...1x12c_blbl.htm

As a bonus, if you sign up to receive promo emails from them, you get a coupon code for 10% off.

Ends up being about $130 bucks, with FREE shipping, and you can send it back within a month if you don't like it. Tough to beat.

I may order up a Lopoline for my Weber Silver Ten to replace the crappy cabinet it came in. Then maybe get a second for another Weber speaker to pair with my other Electrosonic (great sound, poor execution) head.
