Thanks Bill. They do look like humbuckers but I thought I would ask in case they were some kind of single coil design. I'm sorry to report that in this district, I am the local tech! When he has enough time to get it on the workbench, I will let you know. I'm sure it's a quick fix.

Your life is not complete until you try one. I know Koa is popular in these parts. Nice piece of maple on the bridge too, just like the old ones. Works well through the old Fender. Electro Hawaiian I
