Do the Deluxe teles in this discussion have the compound radius necks?

I generally don't like Teles and I played an American Delixd last week and loved it.

shane88, the problem is, I hate trying stuff out at GC. It's too loud, you can't hear anything, and nothing sounds the same as when your at home. Not to mention I would have to drag all gear down to see how it sounds through my rig. Really the only way to try a standard is to buy one and return it if I don't like it, but I don't have the cash flow to buy one without selling my deluxe. I think I'm just gonna pull the trigger and get one. If worse comes to worse, I can return the standard and get a guitar I know I'll love like a tele with humbuckers or an SG.

Topdog, no I don't think so. I think mine is a early 2000's model that were made before the compound radius's.

Check the serial number; that will give you an approximate date of production - they should start with the letters "DZ"; then the first digit is the year in the decade - so "DZ4xxxxxx" would be "2004", etc. |
