Cool looking amp. More hi-end audio looking design. The Schofield demo, while cool, didn't really demo the amps abilities.

There's another thread around here totally bashing the look and tone of the amp based on the Scofield clip. Looks interesting to me, and the MAP is around $1300 from what I was told.

Passive Effects loop - Pre Amp In/Power Amp Out
http://www.two-rock.com/products/sin...ic/exo-15.html

Shouldn't that be pre amp out and power amp in? What am I missing?

Sco sounds like Sco on that demo.
I think the amp looks/sounds cool, and the pricepoint is certainly a change for Two Rock.

I would have been a lot happier (and a lot more interested) if he was getting those tones from the bridge pickup rather than the neck pickup. Looks like he's got the treble, middle, and bass all set around 1:00 o'clock. While taking Schofield's playing style and attack into consideration, those are some pretty thin, biting, BRIGHT, tones that I wouldn't normally associate with the neck pickup postion of a humbucking eqipped hollowbody guitar. I've owned 4 Two-Rocks (Opal, Custom, CSV2, TS-1) and other than the TS-1, I haven't found Two-Rocks to be overly bright amps period, let alone bright in the neck pickup position. Matter of fact always thought they were better suited for bridge postion playing with humbucking equipped guitars. He's also using a Two-Rock 1 x 12 with a Two-Rock speaker. Used/owned that combination as well, and always found that combination to be quite bass heavy and dark. Certainly don't hear bass heavy and dark in that clip.

Don't "hate" the tone per say. Just would have been a lot more interested if it was all happening on the bridge pickup instead of the neck pickup. Can't help but think how BRIGHT this amp would be with Celestions or ASW KTS-70's. Yikes!

Despite Schofeild's greatness, TR should record a better demo to show the amps abilities.

That Schofield clip is another great example of Gearpagers listening with their eyes and not ears.

That clip sounds generic. It just does. Its even got the benifit of a pro recording/video setup, Scho's playing/guitar and mixing. Even with all that, nothing in that clip sets it apart from the basic stuff you can buy in Guitar Center. I'd even go as far to say a SS amp does tones similar to that.

If you think differently, you're blinded by the Two-rock logo.

I'll have to listen when I get home but I have to ask: could they have made it any uglier?

I agree. I thought the tones were generic and not reminiscent of typical TR tones. Sounds ok but somewhat digital IMO. Maybe it's the recording. I also don't like the new look.

Huh, I had the window with the video behind the SQL query I was writing and I still liked it. I must have really good TGP eyesight, or really bad ears.

For most of the video he's playing on the bridge pickup. Only for the last section does he switch to the neck pickup.
