Just joined the reverend club

SOOOO, my purchase for this christmas was a Reverend Reeves Gabrels Signature hardtail runout model in translucent black (so pretty much grey). Should be here within a couple of days, i played it last time i was down in Melbourne and loved it and well last week the price just dropped so i bit the bullet and dished out those credit card details. Anyone else out there happy with their Reverend Guitar purchases? I shall post picture's of my baby when it arrives, only picture i have are the ones from the music store (so the exact one i bought).

Don't forget...push-pull for out of phase.

Revs are great guitars, you should really enjoy this one.

The BCC knob is the "secret weapon". I just got back from playing my Flatroc. I rolled off a little BCC a few times to calm things down. Learn to use it and you'll see!

Congrats on the new panty-dropper!

I have long maintained a strict Gibson/Fender traditionalist stance on guitars, but Reverend is the first company that begs for my infidelity to that approach. I'm GAS'ing something vicious for a Six Gun, specifically the nice blue w/ mint 'guard one that PGS Andy plays in some of their demo's.

Enjoy your Christmas gift!

I saw Reeves use and abuse his last weekend at Joey G's in Madison, IN (for the sum of 9 dollars!) The guitar sounded raw, rude and unmannered, pretty much what you want from R.G. I think. Enjoy!

Argh i should stop reading, the anticipation is killing me...haha. IPLAYLOUD, the BCC is what intrigued me about the guitar and got me reading up on it a bit more, it will be fun to play with for sure.

You can use that BCC to balance to the room, too.

FYI: The body has a swimming pool route under the guard.
You'll be able to drop in another single coil or change to a P90 or Humbucker up front if you desire.

You won't see one of these at a Jam! (I doubt you see another MM either).

Haha yeh...i choose my guitar's partly for that reason, same goes with my Ibanez Artcore Bubinga guitar. I tell you what though, i may even get the Six Gun some time down the track...as far as quality for money goes, reverend have certainly got something going for them

Congrats! One of the sweetest sounds I ever heard was a friend's Reverend Unknown Hinson through my Silvertone 1484. Reverends are superbly made guitars!

I would take that beauty and drop a Bigsby on there using a Vibramate adapter.
