Thumbs up My Dog Skip ~ the movie
I gave out two DVDs of My Dog Skip as Christmas gifts this year. The reports have come back in, drove all the adults to tears



If you like dogs, I highly recommend you watch this movie.

Based on the book by Willie Morris. Willie's son David Rae is a good friend and a fine photographer. David and this film are how I am only one degree from Kevin Bacon.

If you haven't, read some of Willie's other work, such as The Courting of Marcus Dupree or Ghosts of Medgar Evers.
