Anyone going to Columbus Guitar Show?

Just seeing who all might be going. Haven't been in a few years, think I'm making the trip.
One week away.

I'ma counting on it.......Don't know if I'm getting a table or not, I did it that way 3 winter shows ago, and found that a little easier, didn't have that much on it....But, had a lotta' good deals come my way, instead of me searching, and the big plus, was being there swapping, buying, selling with the other "Dealers" before the show......

For some reason I'm really looking forward to this show... Not sure why. I'm hoping for some old Egnater stuff to be there, and I need a power amp for my rack. I'm bringing a Strat and Tele Plus for trading if I see something I like.

It was a pretty packed show early on.. Hard to walk around etc.

Found a cheap ADA power amp for my rack and was going to look hard at a Fender Strat Walnut Elite but in the 30 seconds it took to find my friend and hand him his sales item so I could pick it up and give it a good look someone got a hold of it and ended up buying it.. Oh well. <g>

I was going to go but don't have much $$ at the moment

It's hard to sell anything there unless you rent a table and I didn't have enough to sell to justify the rental space.

I kinda looked for you there, Joel, thought you might show up. Nothing really jumped at me, other than a few things out of my range of course. Saw lots of old friends, so that rocked!

My friend sold a Martin ukulele and a Gibson Tenor guitar while we walked around with them.. Both odd ducks but he had a lot of people into them and finally sold both to a dealer there.

I went, didn't have a table. Took my Dr. Z Monza and PVY Wolfgang and tried to sell. Sat in the front by the door. Couple of lookers. I was suprised there was nothing up on the stage like in years past. Seemed smaller this year. Started clearing out around 3:30, I left around 4. Maybe next year I'll front the $95 for a table, and clear out a lot of stuff.

I saw a few things that made my heart skip a beat or two, otherwise it was all pretty underwhelming.

I scored a beautiful Thorn for a stupid low price. There wasn't a whole lot else that piqued my interest.
