Big Box DMM vs. Behringer VM1 iPhone shootout

I posted this on some other forums, but figured it belongs here as well...

Sorry about the sound of the strings/picking. I hate that, but I used a semi-hollow so it really sticks out.
I borrowed my friend's Big Box. I really gotta get one of these. I have the DMM w/ Tap Tempo and it just doesn't capture what this pedal does - it's very cool in it's own right, but not as warm as the Big Box (I'll borrow his again and do an A/B of the TT w/ the Big Box)

Overall, you can tell that the VM1 just can't hang. The Vibrato/modulation sucks and the repeats are much darker/muddier and more distorted. My guitar has humbuckers (Ibanez AS120 w/ Super 58s)

Oh cool! I haven't seen an actual head-to-head of these yet, although I think we all knew how it would turn out. Still can't wait to watch this once I get in front of my computer.

Exactly why I did it. Let us know what you think.

Nice little vid there, short and to the point. Those two didn't sound like they were set the same at all really. They really sounded like two totally different pedals.

After my first post, I thought about this, and I have to retract my previous statement....an excellent head-to-head has been done before, and perhaps is the reason there aren't many replies in this thread yet.

Check this one out:

Nice job on the vid. Love that DMM sound when other people use it... hate it when I do...
