Which cab for a 1973 Super Lead?

I just scored a point to point 1973 Super Lead head. I'm at a loss as to what cab I ought to pair this with. I play "classic" sounding song oriented rock and roll, so I like to be able to dial in clean to crunch and everything in between. I also prefer a mellow top end and plenty of bass response. What do you think?

Well, the cabs made for that head would be Marshall ( or Marshall clones ) 4 x 12's. I'd go with a 1960 AHW,, a 1960 AX or a 1960 TV. If you needed a smaller cab, a 2 x 12 loaded with Celestion G12-65's or EVM12L's could work as well. It really depends on your budget and the size of cabinet you want to haul around. WGS has the ET-65 that is similar to the Celestion G12-65 for much less moola. Then pickup a quality empty 2 x 12 cab ( closed back for more bass ) and load in the speaker/s of your choice. Lots to choose from.
