Coffee House Song List - Suggestions?

My daughter just graduated college and wants to make some extra cash... she sings like an angel. I have suggested that we do some coffee house-type gigs. It will help me keep up my chops and make her some $$ to help pay student loans.

So, I'm looking for good suggestions for songs that can be done with a female lead singer, and one or two guitars (she plays basic rhythm stuff while singing). No bass, no drums, no keys... just guitar and vocals.

For now, we've started with a few songs that she likes (and has performed during guest appearances with my band):

Ironic - Alanis M.
Baggage Claim - Miranda Lambert
From Where I'm Standing - Schuyler Fisk
Angel from Montgomery - John Prine (she sings the Susan Tedeschi style)
Don't think Twice - Bob Dylan (also in the Susan T. style)
Then you can tell me Goodbye - Casinos
Bring it on Home - Sam Cooke

So you see kinda where we're at with styles...

She has some other ideas, but I wanted to get some input here from some of you guys who have done these types of gigs before (I've only done full-up 4-5 piece bands before).

Any other advice on gear, setup, things to look out for, etc... is always welcomed!

Do you think using a looper in a coffee shop gig is overkill? I've seen people do it before. Guess it makes more sense if it's just you and your guitar.

Great Suggestions, jrkoosh... in fact, we just worked up an arrangement for the Lady Gaga "You and I" tune this morning. My wife is already making fun of me ("ha ha... you're playing Gaga!!"... in a taunting voice)... surprisingly good tune (don't tell any of my Classic Rock band buddies...) !

Adele is a great suggestion... I imagine she has a few that would be worth checking out.

So many people don't do this and it costs them in the end (whether a band or another customer service organization). I'd go to the coffee house on a night you know there will be lots of patrons there (and maybe another band). I'd be upfront, and ask people there what they like to hear from bands that play there, and then work on a song list from that. Ask the owner/bartender what kind of songs the clientele tend to play on their jukebox (if they have one).

If you already know the preferences of the crowd (modern alt country/rock, indi folk, classic rock) then you can build a list from there. Good luck with the gig. It sounds like it would be a lot of fun.
