Paisley od question (2nd attempt)

the problem is the paisley (Brand new) is not equal to the volume with my other pedals... i have to have the vol all the way up on the paisley and still have to back down the vol on the ecstasy to about 11 to equal them out..the paisley stops increasing at about 1 or 2 ..from there on ,no increase in vol...the ecstasy has so much vol to it and it really sounds good at 2 o'clock(pushes my amp ) but i cant have it there because of the paisley's lack of volume...is this a given with this particular od . I know all pot tapers are not exactly a like but does anyone have this issue...???? i can live with it as is but sure would like to know if there is something wrong or this is common with the paisley model...I know the paisley isnt a boost pedal but it does have a volume knob on it and it doesn’t do much past unity...unlike the ecstasy which has a lot of volume past unity.... ......so i am wondering if that’s the nature of the paisley od..?????? if so, guess ill use a boost pedal when useing the paisley..thanks

Bob, I will check mine today and get back to you. I don't recall having this issue.

The one I had strained to give a decent volume level above unity. That and the fact that it sounded like another Tube Screamer to me is why I moved it.

Might be the switch. My Paisley cut out at times and after few stomps it came back to full volume which is way past unity. Might have to send it back for switch repair cause its done this a few times on stage.Once went dead and light wouldn't come one but then came on after stomping. Mine is new too. Might be a run of bad switches!

It's the switch or something needs to be re-soldered.

The Paisley sounds in like a modified TS circuit to me.
