Best cleaner to use on pedals.

What is the best cleaner to use on pedals? Just want to make sure I don't use something that may negatively affect the color or the lettering. I got a couple Boss pedals at a guitar show and they need to be cleaned up.

A slightly damp rag, followed by a clean dry rag.

I use Dr Ducks Ax wax. it does a good gob cleaning off most smegma and leaves a nice shine to boot. Use sparingly, a drop or two will do.

Rubbing Alcohol for tougher stuff like velcro glue. Acetone for really tough stuff that the RA can't handle. But for basic clean, baby wipes can work well for general dust and grime.
