Ha-Ha! Yes. Next trip happens in June and that will be a three month stint between Europe and the States. What fun. I have a couple more shows coming up here in Japan and then I will have some down time.

Trust Simon the Pilot.
He can get you to Tahiti without spilling any bathwater on your private Concord.

Been playing with this setup...hmm debating on the RAT and the G2 at the moment. Both sound similar and different at the same time! The G2 has more bass and lower mids - sounds a bit fuller and perfect for leads whereas the RAT is so suited for the chunka chunka stuff and boosted with the Fulldrive 1, the RAT becomes a raging machine that it's just crazy! But I'm determined to keep only one..question is, which one? Live test tomorrow.

Was pitting the SS3 against the Fulldrive, but both different animals. They each do their thing well. A more suitable comparison to the SS3 would be the Timmy perhaps? But the SS3 is making me happy, so it's staying.

Have an LD-3 en route. Thinking of picking up a GigRig Quartermaster as well. Sigh. Too much cash outflow. Got a NB-3 on order but don't know whether I'll have space to put it on the board now.

Cool photo Jess!

Agree on the SS-3 and I've never owned/ played a Rat.
Timmy was good,
but I didn't like it with a Fender style amp though I
hear Paul Cochrane was going to address that in the later models.

The fulldrive is good,
but for me only on one side.

The NB on the other hand is a no brainer for me.
It's the pedal I would make room for,
as it has it's own eq mojo as well.
It's the best clean boost bar none imo.

Looking forward to catching up at Easter.
I'm curious to hear/ know if the LD makes a
HUGE difference on a board.
I would need to know it's a
very noticeable difference before adding to the collection
instead of e.g. a TB.

I've seen clips but I'm not running a rack and miles of cable etc.
If it's a percentage thing I want to be 100% better etc.

Simon from Tahiti.

I do have the later Timmy actually, but I haven't tried it out on my board yet as I'm really liking the SS3 for what I use the Timmy for. The SS3 is actually more of a boost with a little bit of grit than a full on dirt thing now so maybe the NB-3 will be able to cop that as well? We shall see.

The fulldrive is something I'm still playing with..this Fulldrive was originally made for Eric Johnson! It's dark and creamy but it apparently shines in a live situation so will be trying that out the day after.

Yes, looking forward to Easter! When your TES comes we shall have another tone party to celebrate it's arrival and my ahem upcoming graduation! Haha.

Cheers

No need to be humble on that graduation mate given what it cost in time, effort and loss of sleep!
That's quite an achievement worth celebrating and honouring.

Thanks guys.

I think it's inherent.

Sorry...

yes, that is the right email address - I think Pete's very busy at the moment and he told me that he has to limit the time he spends on emails so he has time to do some gear construction - little comfort I know, especially if you are trying to put an order in (like me!)

Sorry mate I missed your post but that's the same email address I've always used...

Maybe try again or from a different account? I just have a hotmail account and haven't had much trouble, though sometimes it can take a week or two... But definitely try again...
