pickups on Tomo Fujita's SRV stratocaster

I am glad to find that Mr. Tomo Fujita visit this bbs frequently.

I like Mr. Tomo's music very much.

I have a question to Mr. Tomo

I have watch a video where Mr. Tomo introducing a guitar effect named "Robot talk". You have metioned the pickup on the SRV sig stratocaster is a Lindy Fralin one.
I have search this forum for related information, and have really get some thread you've talked about the fralin pickup.
Could you please here give a detailed introduction to these pickups? They are Fralin Vintage hot? How much under-winded or over-winded than the standard ones? what's the magnet polepiece? Any other further modification?

Maybe what I did. Tone control effective on the Bridge P'up. I also took the tone off the Middle - so 1st Tone control = Neck only, 2nd = Bridge only. The reason I did this was to have tone control over any one P'up in whatever positon the blade switch is in (rather than the tone deadening two P'ups).
I also have a pull/push switch on the Bridge Tone to bring in the Neck at any position. The thing still looks stock (except I swapped out the SRV scratch plate).

That makes a difference.

My SRV Strat got Frailn pickups. 13 years old now.

Front & Middle= between True Vintage & Vintage Hot.
They are not stock.

Rear pickup is CP 42 not 43 guage. With baseplate.

Key is not too hot as blues pickups. Less output
you have ... you have more dynamics you can control.

More output you have, you have more muddy tone.

I always got all the up 10 on my tone vontrol.

One tone control for rear pickup, just in case
I want to roll off. But it's full all the time.
I think I use tone control by how I pick the
strings. Very cheap way to control my guitar tone.

PS, John Suhr has my SRV strat right now.
He will come up some magic pickups for me
based on my SRV.

Hi Shage,

I made you confuse.... Sorry about that.

Some guys (in Japan) imitated my SRV strat and
sold to the music store.

Of course I am not selling my SRV strat. I never sell
my SRV... I played so much with my soul and sweat.

I look forward to my Suhr strat. It's gonna be real
special one for me. You can hear this in upcoming
cd.
