I have the Radial ABY and it's unbeatable for the price IMHO. Works great and only $69 street price. http://www.tonebone.com/re-bigshot-aby.htm

RJM Music Y-Not here - overkill for many people, but it's a MIDI controllable A/B/Y with buffer, isolation transformer and phase reverse. Top sound quality, rugged design. Great product

Another approach with benefits... an Ernie Ball Stereo volume/pan pedal, which will also do the A/B/Y thing. I use it to switch or blend between channels on my Bad Cat Hot Cat 30, but it would work for two separate amps. It let's you blend the two at any ratio. The Radial gear is well done as well. Not what you're looking for here, but I use their Headbone VT when I want to A/B two heads into one cab.

I like all the options that the Lehle boxes offer, but ultimately, transparency is the most important factor (I'm one of those that hears the difference between different instrument cables). My concern is that active buffers affect the sound a tad. Any Lehle owners want to come in with their experience?

I am using a DIY AB box, I like that it shorts the input of the side you are not using, helps keep noise at a minimum.

I really can't tell any difference between straight in and through the Lehle Little Dual.

I have a Framptone, it was recomended to me by Bill at Tone Quest, I rarely use a two amp set up but it has all the bells and whistles and does the job quietly without any tone loss or volume drop off.

For less money, Lehle has a "Little Dual" switch. It isn't as good, but it's about half the price.
I had the Lehle Little Dual and was pretty impressed with it. Very silent switching and, reasonably priced.
