Palmer & Lehle look like great switchers.
I use a Framptone and it works fine.

So has anyone tried the Lehle 1at3 SGos?

Can it do A+B+C, A+B, B+C, and A+C?

Would also love to hear back about the buffer situation...

Thanks!

About the Radial Big Shot...I was doing some A/B testing last summer, using one of those for a switcher. Whichever amp got the transformer side suddenly sounded muffled and dull. Dug around online, and apparently there are many people who've noticed that the isolation system isn't especially transparent at all. Mine definitely isn't. Other opinions?

I love and use several A/B/Y Switchers.

GigRig Loopy-2 is an integral part of my live pedal board rig...

Palmer Triline A+B with an E-Frogg Triline Cabinet Switch Extender.
With this system I can use two amps (Heads) into one speaker cab and switch between the two amps.

Framtone A/B & Y Switcher which is use with several amp configurations.

I also use a LOOOPER A/B and A+B switcher that is used to either split my guitar signal to two separate inputs.
And another cool thing I use the Loooper A/B switcher is with amp with four inputs.
Such as my '54 Fender Tweed Deluxe and switch between input 1 or 2 and blend the two together which sounds great !

I use a Lehle P-Split II, as I run both amp all the time and don't need the switching capabilities. I was using a Morley ABY and borrowed my band mate's Lehle Dual SGoS one day at rehearsal and the difference was night and day. I ordered the P-Split the next day.
Can someone please describe the huge difference?

So let me make sure I am clear. Can the Lehle Little Dual do: A (by itself), B (by itself) and A+B (both amps together)? I wasn't clear on this since it had 2 buttons.

If you're going to run two amps from one guitar, you need to electrically isolate the two amps from each other, which requires an isolation transformer in the A/B/Y switch. But many A/B/Y's are designed for passive devices that don't require such systems, so they don't have them. Trouble is, when you use a transformer-less switcher for one guitar into two amps, you get noise from the differences in the voltage structures in the two amps. It'll hook up, and you'll hear the guitar in both/either amp, but the noise will likely be quite loud.

Some Lehle and Radial devices have iso transformers in them, and that solves the problem. The trouble is that the isolation circuit sometimes costs you quite a bit of signal and tone. But at least you won't have the noise, hence the day/night thing. Now if you get two completely transparent channels, you've got a tremendously useful device.

Yes... Left button toggles A or B, Right button selects A and B

One minor annoyance with the Little Dual, the Left button changes the channel when it's released rather than when it's pushed
