Y = Assess your needs/wants, take your time and try out a bunch of different gear. No need to rush into anything because of available money being part of the equation.

That said, I am selling an AVRI Fender Jaguar with G&L MFD pickups.

Great problem to have!!

Not advocating hoarding here, but I find there is always something you still need.

Perhaps if you'd share a gear list we'd have a starting point....

if your looking for something to keep long term, how it looks WON'T hold up to you if it plays crummy or you just don't bond with it, just something to keep in mind as drooling over the pure looks of a guitar can and will cloud your judgement!

My rule for gear purchases is that if I don't feel like I really need it, I don't spend the money.

Well... if you REALLY have GAS, you need to buy something right away to make it go away. I suggest a really loud amp that will get you evicted or get the neighbors to call the cops.

That's always good for a great "pub" story...
