G major with 2 amps

I am trying to figure out a way to have my g major go into the loop of my rebor triple rec and splawn quickrod . I don't know if tis will work but my plan would be to be able to use both of my amps and switch between them and change channels and effects with the pushed my fcb 1010 . I would turn the mix all the ways down for one amp or the other so no sound would come out . Would this work or not ?

You would need some sort of looper unit, like RJM Gizmo or VoodooLab GCX. Or a simple A/B-box.

You could use a GCX, or you could just get another G Major? They are not that much money when you get them used...
