What was your most recent "Bad Day"

Well. Today was pretty crappy. It's my 5th day here in Reno Navada.
I wake up at 6am, I have a coffee and I get ready to take my girl to work.
*Snap*. My driver side door handle to my blazer snaps clean off.
It was around 17f outside. Everything was frozen. Aswell the traffic witch I'm not used to was at a steady crawl of 15 mph. And now I have an ear infection, and what feels like a shitty cold.

Today would be the most recent bad day for me.

But one can only feel slightly better through other peoples misery.

SO

What's yours?

I started off the other morning by locking myself out of my house while it was 15f out. Luckily my dad was able to drive the 30 minutes to let me borrow his spare key (My wife had used our hidden spare and not put it back). Due to all of this, I was late for a meeting at work that I was in charge of.

The day went down hill from there. I shoulda stayed in bed.

grandad's funeral a few weeks ago. What a strange day.....great to remember the good times and celebrate what a great man he was. Sad for the same reason.

A week or so ago, i made a doof out of myself at work. Nothing major but it put me on the radar (at least momentarily) of my boss's, boss's, boss. My "great-grand-boss", if you will.

I won't go into details but it was a silly choice i made and it was probably forgotten quickly. I get real down on myself when i do stupid shit and i was emotionally self-tortured over this for more than a few days.

i have a 4 year and a 5 year old walking incubators running around my house. i have been sick constantly, for the last 2+ months. it just goes from one thing to the next. im just recovering from a chest infection my 4 year old coughed onto me. it ended up making me loose my voice 100%. durring a time when my band is making a new demo to get more/different gigs (im also the lead singer). my voice is now an octave lower than normal, which actually is kinda cool in a leonard cohen type way, but it wont last, so its pointless to record or practice. kids are back at school for 2 days after winter break and are already bringing home more sickness. now i have a pounding headache that feels like ive got another head cold coming on. this sucks, cant wait till spring.

On Tuesday one of my three boys (all under the ages if 10) flushed a Weeble (Weebles wobble but they dont flush down!) down a toilet.

One of them then decided to make a deposit.

I spent the next 4 hours wrestling that thing from the bowels of hell. I did come out victorious, just a tad bit grumpy.

So yay for me, paid my car off early in January by about 5-6 months...

2 weeks later...

Car Doesn't Start -> Call mechanic and he identifies a needed Head Gasket Repair (burning oil and antifreeze) -> Repaired -> Shuttering badly/Alignment -> Repaired -> Headlight out -> Repaired by me...pull battery to access halogen headlight -> Other Headlight out - Repaired by me...had to come up with mechanism to unscrew headlight compartment without tearing whatever part was in the way...

I'm up around $2,050 in the last month in car repairs and parts. So much for building my next guitar...

I had surgery for an umbilical hernia last Monday. Every day has pretty much sucked since then. It's getting better, but tomorrow my wife and son are going to Disneyland becaus it will be open 24 hours for the leap year. I can't go because I can't walk that much or even go on the rides. It's really going to suck sitting in my office all day knowing where I should be.

Of course, it could be worse.

Edit: As I was typing the post above mine came up. Hope you recover man.
