Throbak's

Just ordered a set of the SLE-101 Plus pickups with a short A5 in the bridge for a little beefier lead tone. Anyone else put Throbaks in a Les Paul? How have they held up?

They're headed for my R5...

Sound great in an LP...or in any humbucking guitar for that matter...like the A5s better than the A2s...give you almost single-coil-like clarity and stay clear even under copious amounts of gain...

Of the hums I have tried...definitely in my Top 5...

As always there are tons of great choices now days and it's a question of needs and setup as to whether they are the ultimate set for you...

Agree that top is awesome!

Chow,
Seegs

You should ask this question over on the LPF! These pups rule over there and for good reason. Beautiful guitar too!

I have SLE-101s in my LP, and I love them.
