What age did you start learning/playing the guitar?

So I've been listening to some interivews with pro guitarist and it seemed like most of them said they first started playing before the age of 10 or at least by 13 years old. So I'm just kinda wondering if your a professional guitarist when did you start playing, and if your not is it in part because you made a late start. Me, I started early 30s.

I was 14 at the time.

Early 30's - and REALLY wish I started back in my teens. I'm at a disadvantage, but I'll do the best I can.

Started really getting into and practicing in 1980 when I was 14.
Had a Memphis LP copy, Ampeg 110 combo and a MXR Distortion +.
Was learning Sabbath, Priest and Ozzy with Randy Rhoads.

I got my first guitar at 14 and played quite a bit until college.... I took off 15-ish years until I started playing in earnest again a couple years ago. I feel like I've come a long way in that time but still kinda wish I'd have found more time to progress during the long, long lull.
C'est la vie! Life and a career happened in between. That being said, as much as I deeply, viscerally enjoy playing and learning on the guitar, I know I'm not super-talented and a career in music was not to be my path.

I started when I was in my early twenties, then stopped for about 10 years (life got in the way), picked it up again in my 30's, stopped again, and the started again about 4 years ago, and haven't looked back.
I guess three times the charm!

Professional, to me, would either be one who does or could earn their living by their skill. Example: I'm a chef. I know plenty of folks who can cook and do so quite well, but who can't/couldn't -either by inclination or talent or ?- actually run a functioning kitchen.

I'd say that pro would mean that it is your main source of income.

I was a 19 year old Navy Seabee stationed in Guantanamo Bay Cuba in 1981. I had always wanted to learn but never had the chance. A guy living across the hall in the barracks played. He showed me a couple of things and I was off. Played in a bar band in 85-86 in San Diego while I was finishing up my tour.
