What TV Jones do I want in the neck of my Cabronita?

So I'm building a Cabronita and while I've decided on a Classic + in the bridge, I'm not sure which one to go with in the neck. I want something humbucking, but I have 3 choices here: Classic, Super'Tron, and Magna'Tron.

What I'm really looking for here is the best option for blues, so which one would you recommend?

ALSO, RELATED QUESTION: Does the Classic + bridge have upper midrange honk, or is it more of a lower midrange growl when driven?

if you have a Classic + in the bridge you'll need a standard Classic in the neck (I have a set of Classics in a Maton Mastersound, they sound fantastic)

But is it bluesy? And have you tried the others? The output is comparable so any one of them should match the Classic + bridge.

I'm not the bluesiest player, but the 1st few licks were my attempt to get a bluesy neck sound.

I have a classic + in the bridge and put a P90 in the neck. i like it very much. If youre looking for blues, I feel like blues is your technique. It is beyond the pup itself.

Agreed, but some pickups definitely sound better for blues than others. P-90 would be optimal, but I'm going noise free here.

I got a fralin noiseless p90

there's also the kinman noiseless (from those that have tried both here on tgp, they say the Kinmans are better than the fralins..but are certainly priceier as well)

I'm one of those guys and the Kinman still wasn't good enough to keep, not by a long shot. I did a comparison that I posted between the Kinman and a Lollar, there really was no comparison if I'm being honest, half the time it didn't even sound like a single coil when compared to the real P-90.

Two TVJ Classics with Classic Plus in bridge = THE best & most versatile PUPs money can buy imo. The Plus is just a touch hotter than the standard Classic is all
