Plastic Knobs suck
When I put my amp in the car, or bring it to a gig, lug it around... One by one, the knobs on my amp break off. And the lever knobs twist. its a mess. I remember it happeneing to my old amp too. When we're in the digital age, why do companies even make amps with plastic knobs anymore...Its like a 40 watt, nice amp, and the knobs are crap. I can try to take better care of it sure, but this stuff is inevitable. Especailly when youre in a rush, so much to deal with during a gig.

I've never damaged a knob moving an amp. Srsly.
But I don't just toss it in the car either. |

Ditto. Sounds like carelessness or even abuse of the amp.

I have had metal-shafted pots that failed when the shaft got bent or pushed too much. Lesson to learn: Whether built out of plastic or steel electronic devices are fragile, don't abuse them.

I have been playing gigs for over twenty years. Never broke a knob on an amp. And I have owned many amps.
