Dirt pedal for a Dumble clone

Hi guys,

I'm looking for an overdrive pedal the will preserve the overall fragile harmonic content of my Dumble style amp that I play in my P&W band. Think John Mayer.

What's the consensus here on OD pedals over 300$ ?

TIA

PS : sorry if that's already been answered.

First we need to establish the co-efficient (squared) of the crystal lettuce.

If this is actually a serious post.

Have you tried using a very clean boost? Thus you are still getting the dirt from the amp itself?

Or does your clone have too much clean headroom, and therefore the push of a clean boost giving you too much volume?

KOT, Caroline Icarus Clean Boost, or Keeley Katana. I also want to know if the op is serious or poking fun.

Well if you are thinking about John Mayer tones he uses a whole slew of overdrives for his two rock. Clean boosts, transparent drives, and mid hump style drives.

For P&W? Okko Diablo.

Get a Klon. That's over $300. Get a life too. (just kidding)

Either a Plush Pure Gain or a King of Tone. Either sounds great with a D-style amp.

Try Boss DS-1 or a MT-2.
